About Joyce Parton
Joyce formed Parton Service Group in 2024. Joyce has held several organizational leadership positions in her 35 years, with expertise in strategic planning, project management and team leadership. She has a diverse background in the energy industry focusing on decarbonization, energy management practices, renewable energy and the regulatory utility environment. Prior to this, she served in executive management positions as Senior VP President at ms consultants inc., leading the energy practice focusing on the utility and renewable energy clients, and at NOPEC as Chief Operations Officer. Joyce holds degrees from The Ohio State University in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and was conferred the Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Akron. She began her career at the CNG companies in the natural gas industry, and then joined a capital venture firm in the power industry, serving as Vice President of Public Relations, concentrating on permitting and regulatory affairs. She then pursued her interests in the energy arena as “end user”, leading supply and demand side strategies in C&I at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and with Forest City Realty Trust, with roles as an Energy Buyer, in Sustainable Development and Design, and Energy Management. She is certified as a LEED AP Legacy with the USGBC and a WELL AP with the International WELL Buildings Institute. She is a past Vice Chair of the Sustainability Advisory Committee for the Real Estate Roundtable, the USGBC Real Estate Group and is a former Board Member of the Institute for Market Transformation. Joyce currently supports various professional groups such as WRISE Ohio, supporting women in renewable and sustainable energy fields, and serves on the Steering Committee for the premier Ohio Energy Conference. She has advocated nationally for energy deregulation and education around sustainable practices. A lifetime Ohioan, Joyce grew-up Youngstown and has been a lifelong Northeast Ohio resident with her husband and pups.
